Richard Armitage at the BAFTAs

Richard Armitage presented the Best Drama Serial Award at the British Academy Television Awards on Sunday 20th May 2007.

He and Victoria Smurfit presented the award to See No Evil: The Moors Murderers, an ITV1 programme. The Vicar of Dibley Christmas Special was one of the nominees for the Pioneer Audience Award for the Best Programme of 2006, an award voted for by viewers. However, it was beaten by Life on Mars, a critically acclaimed and hugely popular police series.
